The videos of the Guardia Civil action on 1-O that were not viewed today in the Supreme Court

The ninth week of the Catalan independence trial has begun in the Supreme Court and the tug of war between the defence counsels and the court to display the videos of 1-O and 20-S is constant. Videos were only viewed at the beginning of the trial, but the permissiveness of judge Marchena, the presiding magistrate of the Supreme Court, was short.lived.

The defence counsels of the accused argue that, in order to contradict the witness statements of Guardia Civil and national police officers, it is necessary to display videos of their actions.

Marchena always answers by saying "you may rest assured that the videos will be viewed, every single one of them", during the documentary evidence phase, just before the closing statements. We are now in the witness stage.

On this day at the beginning of the ninth week of the trial, Guardia Civil officers who acted at Sant Carles de la Ràpita, Vilabella, Mont-roig del Camp and Garrigàs on 1 October have taken the witness stand.
