Heart diseases
The 23rd edition of La Marató de TV3 was presented by Mònica Terribas and Quim Masferrer. During more than 15 hours of live broadcasting there was awareness-raising, information and entertainment with the aim of collecting funds to boost research on heart disease.
The statements of people affected by the disease were combined with interviews with medical experts and informative actions in the studio to help people understand medical concepts about heart disease. The music and the show completed the space, which was followed by an average of 409,000 viewers, with a share of 19.5%.
The intensive social mobilisation that surrounds La Marató and the many ways in which people can take part resulted in a scoreboard of 11,430,593, which will be used to boost research into heart disease.
