DIABETES AND OBESITY
In the 2015 Marató, which dealt with diabetes and obesity, 136 projects were presented and these were assessed by 65 scientists specialising in these diseases, according to their quality, methodology and relevance This assessment was managed by the Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia, of the Catalan Ministry of Health.
In accordance with the proposal of the scientific Advisory Committee of the Fundació La Marató de 3Cat, the Board agreed to distribute €8,360,821 to the following 33 research projects of excellence:
