"Colours" is based on "Colors en sèrie", a highly successful TV3-Televisió de Catalunya production which started 12 years ago and is now coming back with new blood, with a more ambitious, larger impulse and an international outlook where universal characters, events and landscapes come together.
Like the original version, the series represents an enthralling voyage through the emotions which colours can arouse. Its style is halfway between a documentary and fiction. A highly artistic and experimental work. Each episode is a fascinating adventure brought about by one single colour. Emotions and reactions associated to a certain imagery are conveyed by anthropological, psychological, cinematic, cultural, historical, gastronomical or musical approaches.
Ten 25-minute episodes devoted to colour and the emotions they arouse, with a fresh, more international outlook and filmed in 4K.
