Times of Change
The whole world has seen what has been happening in the streets. But while these overwhelming events have been taking place, the main players of this historic moment have had to work and make important decisions, each from their own position, charged with hope but also with concern. These day-to-day decisions will determine the country's future and how that impacts the European Community.
A TV3 team has had direct and personal access to the unfolding events and has been following the president of the Catalan government, Carles Puigdemont; the vicepresident, Oriol Junqueras, and the Foreign and Interior Catalan ministers: Raül Romeva and Joaquim Forn; the delegate of the Spanish government, Enric Millo; the leaders of pro-independence organisations Òmnium Cultural and the Catalan National Assembly (ANC): Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart; as well as politicians who are in favor of the referendum but clearly against the idea of independence, such as the Mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, and the Socialist mayor of the town of Viladecans, among many other key figures.
Together with them, we have experienced some of the most shocking moments that have taken place over the past decades in Europe, witnessing what they saw and felt in the face of the main events of the past few days.
