Seven people interested in dream studies get together in a country house to share their experiences
A group of oneironauts, or explorers of dreams, spend a weekend in a house by the sea to experiment on collective dreams.
Fabia is a medical examiner who always appears naked in her dreams. She invites her colleague Jonas, who is depressed after yet another failed relationship, to join them. The idea occurs to her at the Forensic Institute when Jonas breaks down at the autopsy table just as they are about to cut into the beautiful body of a water fitness teacher who drowned in a pool.
This is how Jonas gets involved in this unusual group and in the complex practices of lucid dreams, telepathy, relaxation and self-psychoanalysis, although what he really wants is to just find a woman willing to sleep with him, and vent his built-up rage.
But Jonas has a special gift for oneiric experiences. When he wakes up the next morning, he is not alone. By his side is the girl on whom he and Fabia had done the autopsy the previous day. She is alive, bewildered and convinced that she is having a strange dream.
The whole group is shocked, but they soon reach the conclusion that even though it may seem completely irrational, the young woman is a dream turned into reality. Finally, after some chaotic discussion, almost all of them agree that the logical step to take would be to send the girl back to her world. But how?
To make matters worse, the person responsible for her death appears to be among the seven oneironauts.
