T2xC41 - L'estel caigut

Chota's mother is taken ill and Mowgli has promised to look after Chota. Tabaqui and Shere Kahn take this as an opportunity to finish the man cub and the tiger cub but a meteor passes by and the earth rumbles under its impact foiling their plans. Mowgli tells Chota that making a wish to a fallen star makes it true. The next morning, Chota is not to be found and Mowgli knows where he might have gone. Chota is on his way to make a wish and he moves through the jungle, sometimes happy and other times scared. Mowgli is also on the outlook for Chota. The meteor seems to have fell somewhere near Shere Kahn's territory and he is very happy that he can finally get hold of Chota. Mowgli manages to find Chota just in time before the black viper strikes at him. Chota finally makes a wish with the star fall. Shere Kahn comes down to the crater, ready to pounce on Mowgli and Chota but the smoke from the crater doesn't allow him to be at one place. Mowgli gathers some leaves and branches and puts them in the heart of the crater so that they burn and give out some smoke. Using this as a cover, they hide in the crater while Shere Kahn is tricked into finding them. They get home safely and find that the tigress is well again and Chota's wish comes true.
