T2xC26 - El temple del llop (1a part)

Akela is taken sick and Baloo confirms that it is some kind of infection. He fears there is no cure but Akela tells them that the waters of the Temple of the Wolf can cure him. But they fear that Akela will not make it till there. Lali is not allowed on the trip as she is a she-wolf, so it Raksha. But Lali has other plans and so does Phaona. Phaona feels that if Akela and Daruka are gone for good, then he gets to be the pack leader. Once the male wolves begin their journey, they have to choose their paths carefully. Mowgli choses a flat land for Akela to walk easily on. Phaona notices an old tree and excuses himself from the pack to go away. A while later the pack has to save themselves from a falling tree which is rather old. Back at the Wolf Lair, the sun has set and Darzee notices Lali creeping out silently away from Raksha. Lali and Darzee are busy finding their way to the male-wolves when Lali notices the scratch marks on the fallen tree. She doesn't like the look of it and is scared for the wolves. Mowgli is trying to find a new way up the ridge and Phaona decides to help him. But it dawns on Mowgli that Phaona might want to get rid of the wolves. He confronts Phaona about it but suddenly the rock beneath him slips and he falls in the valley below the cliff. Phaona just waks away pretending nothing happened. Mowgli hasn't fallen to his death and holds on to a bush which had grown on the side of the cliff. Lali arrives just in time and saves Mowgli. They head back and tell the rest of the wolves that the bridge is unsafe. Akela makes a new rule stating that she-wolves would now be allowed into the Temple of the Wolf. Mowgli shows them a new way and they all decide to rest for the night and move to the temple the next day. But Phaona is very unhappy. What will he do now?
