T2xC51 - El bastó trencat

It is the time of the Spring Parade and Hathi will be leading the elephants but he can't find his baton. Meanwhile Appu, Hita and Mowgli are playing with Hathi's baton. They accidently break the baton and Mowgli offers to go to Cheel's cliff to get another baton. Tabaqui over hears this conversation. Mowgli and Appu head off for the cliff. Hita confesses to her mother about the baton and tells her that the two have gone to fetch a new one. As they reach the cliff, Appu is too heavy to cross the bridge. Mowgli decides to go and get it by himself. Mowgli reaches the tree but the cobra is guarding it. As Mowgli tries to break off a branch, the cobra moves towards him menacingly. When Mowgli tells him that he is a friend of Hathi, the cobra eases and gives man cub a branch. Mowgli thanks the cobra and leaves. Shere Kahn is on his way and as Appu hides in the bushes, the tiger threatens the man-cub. But not for long as Appu shoes away the jackal and trips the tiger throwing him in the ravine below. Mowgli has to reach for the baton which fell off when Shere Kahn startled him. Appu guides him to get it but Shere Kahn is soon gaing pace and just as he is about to strike Mowgli, the man-cub is swept off his feet and into the air by Cheel who comes to rescue him.
