Tough Break (cap.11)

It's 'Show and Tell' and the friends are all discussing what subjects they are going to be talking about. Lara is terrified of giving her speech; even though she feels confident in her subject, she just doesn't want to do it in front of everyone. Tony and Monica are both excited about their "unique" talk, although their excitement doesn't last once they discover they've both chosen the same subject. Lara isn't the only one who doesn't want to do their talk. Deon is so frightened of giving his talk that he decides that he isn't going to do it, and Lara discovers why. Deon's voice is breaking and he is embarrassed by the way his voice keeps squeaking. Lara decides that if Deon isn't going to do his talk, then neither will she. Deon realises that they will both get into trouble if that happens, so he concedes. Lara encourages him to be himself and honest. Together, they decide to face the class and their fears. Although Gabriel prompts another fear. his talk was about his insect collection, and he's just lost his tarantula. eek!
